NEXT VICTIM - The Cold Gust Of Wind CD

ポーランドの Next Victim (次の犠牲者) の2006年リリースのファースト・アルバム。このバンドは ex-Mind Pollution (ビデオ: Mind Pollution [Baranovichy, Belarus 19-03-2005]) のメンバーによって結成されたバンドである。その Mind Pollution で変幻自在のヴォーカリゼーションを披露していた女性ヴォーカリストがまたもフロントに立つ。案の定というかこのバンドもまたその Mind Pollution と同じく異端な存在感を放っている。そしてジャンベも叩く彼女のヴォーカリゼーションはここにきて頂点を極めたかのようだ。サウンドはネオクラスト的な要素があった Mind Pollution からその要素を抜いて、さらにスロー・ダウン。より憂鬱と絶望に満ちている。まさにダーク・アンビエント・クラスト・スラッジと呼ぶにふさわしい。個人的な表現を用いて、サウンド同様にこの世界の憂鬱と絶望を唄い叫ぶ歌詞はそのような感情もあらためて希望を呼び起こしてくれるものだ、ということを思いださせてくれる。 しかしながらここで言う希望は人間の嫌悪・恐怖を深くえぐるがゆえにとてつもなく遠い希望と言えるだろう。俺はこういうほうが肌に合っている。全6曲。(ビデオ: Next Victim - gig na rozbracie)

Acclaim Collective が各国の DIYレーベルと共同でリリースした Nagaf / From the Depths - split CD (ACM025) の From the Depths 側の新作情報。次はポーランドの Next Victim との split 12" になるようだ。もうじきポーランドの Zaraza Production、NNNW、Scream Records の3レーベル共同によりリリースされる。
