アイルランドの Distro-y からの情報。現在のイギリスで精力的に活動し、多くの作品をリリースしている2人組アナーコパンクス "Burnt Cross" と、あの Cress (ex-The Deformed) の split 7" がもうじきリリースされるようだ。
90年代後期に活動開始した Cress はここ数年再活動しライブも行っていたが、新作を発表するのはたしか99年に Worried Sheep からリリースしたファースト・シングル "From Violence To Consumerism" 7" (後に Tribal War (US) / Flat Earth (UK) が再発) 以来。
Crass アプローチをもとに、リズムマシン、キーボード、サンプリングを駆使した「Antisect meets Flux Of Pink Indians meets Killing Joke」とでも言えるその異端すぎるサウンドは Crass より Cress というアナーコパンクスもいるくらいだ。おれ。まあそれは別にどうでもいいが、トリビュートも出てるくらいなので影響力は大きい。Flat Earth からのファースト・アルバム "Monuments" LP ('97)、同じく Flat Earth からの split 10" with Doom ('98) はどれも名作。
まだアートワークなどは公表されていない。リリースされるレーベルは現時点で上記の Distro-y、Tadpole Records というのは分かっている。
