Day By Day - Animal Abuse is Nothing Bygone LP Out Now

ドイツの Twisted Chords から90'sジャーマン・名ポリティカル・パンク/ハードコア・バンド "Day By Day" の全音源がついに再発された。収録は自主リリースの2枚の7" (Ganz Was Feines? 及び We Need More Than Your Compassion) は言うまでもなく、コンピ収録曲、デモ、さらには未発表曲が2曲も加えられている。

先月の Recent Playlist Of Acclaim Collective (A) でも触れたとおり、この Day By Day はあの Lost World の前身と言えるバンドだ (ヴォーカルの Tati を含む数人のメンバーにより継続された)。Lost World で確立される唯一無比の Lost World サウンドへの予兆は既にこの頃からあった。そして Lost World の主たるテーマの一つであった反動物実験のメッセージもこのバンドから引き継がれていた。

以前、違うレーベルから再発されるという話を聞いていたが、Twisted Chords からのリリースで落ち着いたようだ。
