Heyoka は2009年に活動再開した90's フレンチ・フィメール・アナーコパンク・レジェンド。今回入荷した "Piqures de Rappel" は91年から97年までの全音源 + ライブを収録したダブルCD。下の Maloka のレビューにもあるように、音的には、Kochise や La Fraction と比較できるが、その2バンドをミックスしたような感じだ。かれらよりまったくの「無名」ではある──しかしながら、地元フランスではかれらとならんでもっとも影響力のあるバンドの1つでもあるようで、本作でこのバンドの「全容」に触れればそれもうなずけるというものだ。
Years of Decay / Sand Creek Massacre - split LP はフランス及びオランダのポリティカル・モダンクラスト・スプリット。とくに Years of Decay は Acclaim 的にかなり推薦したいバンド。女性ヴォーカルの現代的なアナーコクラスト・バンドで、派手さはないがそのド渋なミッドテンポ中心の "エモ＝クラスト" サウンドが心にくる。例えれば、オーストラリアの Schifosi に加え、あのドイツの Jeniger を彷彿させもする。歌詞のもつ激しくエモーショナルな政治的・社会的批評性ももちろん推薦の理由だ。
