ポリティカル・スウェディッシュ・ハードコア・レジェンド "Avskum" が、かれら自身も語っているとおり、待望のジャパン・ツアーをこの12月敢行する。ツアー・タイトルにもなっている現時点での最新4thアルバム "Uppror Underifrån" LP/CD (Prank Records) を引っ提げて。パチンコをかまえる戦闘的鋲ジャン・アナーコパンクスが描かれた Crash Mange によるアートワーク、そのアートワークに比例して、Avskum 流とも言える不変の反国家・反資本主義スウェディッシュ・ハードコアを聴かせてくれた本作は非常に素晴らしかった。ジャパン・ツアーに合わせ、同じ Prank Records より Japan tour Ep もリリースされるようだ。

以前、当ブログで「Acclaim Collective (A) が今もっとも推薦する D.I.Yパンク/ハードコア・バンドの紹介」として、スウェーデン・ストックホルムの Shades of Grey を紹介したが、今回紹介するバンドもその内の1つ。
それは、デンマーク･K-Town の Realm of Chaos。とりわけ、既に日本で知られている同郷の Nuclear Death Terror 辺りのスカムなダニッシュ・クラストの雰囲気が好きなパンクスには自信をもって薦めたい。自称「New Wave of Death Metal Crust」とのことだが、これは、Bolt Thrower に影響を受けていると解釈してもらっていい (バンド名で明らか)。そして、今の US メタルクラスト・バンド、例えば、Hellshock、Stormcrow､Sanctum 辺りの現代的な影響もあるのが、「New Wave~」たるゆえんでもあると思う。 女性ヴォーカリスト "Hellena" と、デスヴォイスのギター/ヴォーカル "Mathias" のコンビネーションがまたかっこいい。
スウェーデンの "Black Block Punk Rock" こと "Protestera" の3rdアルバムのリリースの用意がそろそろできるようだ。
タイトルは、"01.05.1886"。 本作は、現在はバンドを脱退した前ヴォーカリスト "Micha" 在籍時の最後の音源になる。録音は、2008年6月6日～15日。 LPバージョンは、かれらのフル・アルバムを、ファーストから一貫してリリースし続けているドイツの Skuld Releases、CDバージョンは、こちらもスウェーデンにおけるファミリー的なレーベルと言っていい Halvfabrikat Records から。

New Protestera CD, recorded June 6-15, 2008. The song Ett folk har rest sig are a re-recorded track initially to be placed on Rock n riot CD/LP, but this version are with a somewhat new text. The songs Världens vackraste brott and Drakar are initially from the recording for the Gränslösa land EP, where the song Världens vackraste brott where left and to be put on a split ten inch which the Japanese act Gotcha (which are not yet released). Those two are in new versions on this CD. Yes, the CD will be released by Halvfabrikat Records and the LP will be out on Skuld releases.
VOCO PROTESTA - Vojo al libereco LP (La Vida Es Un Mus)
Tokyo's VOCO PROTESTA blend the best of the last fifteen years of Japanese distorted hardcore with the early 80’s European punk attitude. Their sound has changed a touch since their three 7"s - It’s more dynamic, perhaps less CONFUSE and more CRUDE SS. However, their ideas are still the same, highly idealistic anarchist lyrics about a better world sang in Esperanto. Their sonic approach is still distorted, primitive and urgent. Fast and angry. 'Vojo el Libereco' is a classic slice of raw hardcore for any fans of GLOOM, FRAMTID, FRIGORA and other masters of the black and white high contrast artwork. Cover by Teodoro Hernandez.
Uruguayan anti-fascist political emo hardcore with energetic female vocals. This 7" is re-release (includes new artwork + one unreleased song "la mirada de los otros" / "the look of the others") of their first work, entitled "Armonia Para Resistir" (2004) originally released by Uruguay's Catalina Records (tape version) and UK's Blackprint Records (7" version).
Swedish and Japanese "super" anarcho punk bands. We are really really excited this project, because both bands are one of the best anarcho punk bands in the world, and it's very important that the anarchist resistance strategy of Protestera be translated into Japanese. By the way, for the world's punx who doesn't know Japanese GOTCHA : They are male/female vocaled experimental anarcho-punk band that used the drum-machine now from Fukuoka, and the activity is long in Japan. And they released three tapes (demo, split tape w/Control and "How long will we continute..." tape (same as split tape w/Control) and are participating in two compilations ("Crust Night 2001" comp CD that "Tribal War Asia Records" released, and "Nine-states Chain Strength" comp CD-R that "Koroshino Records" released) by present. Their music keep always changing, and now they play sounds like the "Massive Attack meets Crass meets Conflict"! The lyrics also are very inspirational.
ALTERCADO - Radio Rebelion CD (Persistencia Records) ￥900
チリのポリティカル・ハードコア "Altercado" の既に4作目となるフル・アルバム。以前の作品はすべて未聴だった。しかし、この作品で初めて聴いて非常に気に入った。基本は、「ファストコア」とも呼べそうな勢いのある、重量感も十分のハードコア・サウンドだが、本作を聴いていくうちに一筋縄ではいかないバンドと判明する。全編を支配するダークな様相から、そのことはうすうすと感じていた。Catharsis を彷彿とさせるモニュメンタル・パートをも緊張感たっぷりに導入しているのだ。これがまたかっこよく、「激情」も申し分なしと言えよう。ラスト・ソング "Radio Rebelion" はその集大成的な13分以上にも及ぶロング・ソングである。さらに、このことにより、このバンドの「存在」がどのようなものかも分かってくる。そのラスト・ソングの冒頭の歌詞には、「1982」とある。この1982年当時のチリは、ピノチェト軍事独裁政権の支配下にあった。軍事独裁政権によって、反対する人々への弾圧・拷問・虐殺が容赦なく行使され、また、その軍事独裁政権が推進した新自由主義によって、人々はますます貧困のどん底に追いやられていた。つまり、この曲はその「暗殺者」に対する告発がいまだチリ・パンクスの間で続けられている証なのである。その曲にまたある「Our love」ー「And our hate (against the tyrant)」を奪還するために。そのほかには、"Today I stopped loving private property. And believing in social peace." (今日、俺は私有財産を敬愛することを止める。そして社会平和を信じる) と唄う "The Lower Class Wants To Light the Sky" がよかった。というわけで、やつらの「私有財産」を徹底的に否定する完全D.I.Yな姿勢にも勇気づけられる全8曲。
