パトリシア・ヘラスは犯してもいない罪で刑務所に送られた後自殺する
背景 [下部の訂正も参照してください]: バルセロナのあるアパートのなかである騒々しい会合があった。混乱した成り行きのなかで1人のエージェントがバルコニーから投げられた鉢植えに当たり、麻痺が残る重傷を負う事件が起こった。
奇妙なことに、自治体の警察は鉢を投げた人物がだれかを適切に調査し追求する代わりに、これはスクウォット運動のせいだと判断した。まず最初に、警察は問題のアパートがなんとしてもスクウォット運動──この運動が否定するなにかに「関連する」と判断した。警察は1つの石にちなんで鉢植えのストーリーを変更し、混乱した闘争の過程のなかで石ではなく可動式のフェンスを投げたという点において、最終的にこの少女──パトリシア・ヘラス (Patricia Heras) を起訴した。
彼女はつねにそのことを否定した。彼女はそこにいることを完全に否定し、政治的な理由によるスケープゴートだと主張した。彼女はまた政治的報復の可能性が高いこの混乱したエピソードの中で逮捕された大部分の人々のように拘留中の拷問を糾弾した。彼女は3年の刑を宣告された。自由な考えの持ち主だったので、彼女はそれに耐えられず、再び刑務所に行く前に自殺してしまった。
